You know it’s always challenging living with a prophet, apostle, preacher and teacher, who also happens to be your husband
My husband, “Pastor Dave”, keeps challenging me and making me stretch my faith and my idea of working the vision.
This challenge has to do with prayer.
You may or may not remember but I used to be a Christian announcer at an FM station outside of Atlanta for over 15 years. For the majority of my time there at the station I had a 6:10 am prayer time that was very popular.
Well Dave challenged me almost a year ago about praying online, so I started the Social Media Prayer Time on SoundCloud.
Technology has continued to change and grow with video and other platforms. I discovered to that allow me to simulcast the online prayer time on video and web radio!
We have been at it consistently with Social Media Time, online prayer, Monday through Sunday, and enjoying it immensely.
I say we, because my two children have gotten involved. My 10 year old son likes to be the sound man! It thrills me to see this little home schooled man child beg me to wake him up at 7am so he can join us.
My 14 year old daughter has joined me in this quest. She picks out the good news verse from the Word of God, shares the latest worship music and allows me to use some of her recent photograph creations from Instagram.
We have had a regular group show up each morning. The interaction between them has been awesome as we watch them “chat” with each other before the prayer time. They take this mandate, or reasonable service, serious as they intercede daily and share requests on our Facebook Social Media Prayer Group! Join us now…or live!

depressed. The only work I get (thank God) is hard very hard labor and my body aches, Iknow I reap what I sowed, I did drug, didn’t learn a trade or go to college while I was young. Im 47 and life sucks! I hurt. I have Christ and a NEW creation ( Yipee!)I can’t do the hard labor stuff anymore I need to make a living! I don’t do Facebook anymore , only Twitter and mostly Linkedin.com.
I know I’m called to make Christian motion pictures (been prophecied over 9 times) but it’s frustrating because after 7 years of believing in Faith, I’m still waiting for support, encouragement and finances! sad thing is…..I get more pursecution from the local churches within my area. I pass flyers either about forming a team, auditions and my Kickstater account and (after saying they want to help) no flyer is posted by them or torn down.
